Chudleigh History Group Privacy Statement

The Chudleigh History Group uses the personal information (mainly your name, postal address and email address) that as a Member you have supplied to:

  • > Keep you informed about the activities of the Chudleigh History Group
  • > Give you information about other organisations/events connected with the aims of the Chudleigh History Group

Your information is held digitally as a membership list, only by trustees of Chudleigh History Group, and is not shared with any other person or organisation, without your express consent.

General information will normally be sent to Members via an email list. Your email address will not be visible to other members of the emailing list, by blind-copying all recipients.

Everyone currently on the membership list has actively given this information, but if you want your name, email address or any other personal details updated or removed, or you wish to opt out of the email list please do so by emailing the Secretary (Fran Brunton – secretary@chudleighhistorygroup.uk) or Chairman (Alan Brunton – chairman@chudleighhistorygroup.uk) at any time.

An option to remain on the email list or to be removed from it will also be included on the annual membership renewal form. Personal details for lapsed Members will be kept for a limited period only before being removed.
